In cooperation with the Scientific Board we research and develop innovative technology for the intelligent data analysis of the future. MembersProf. Dr. Myra SpiliopoulouProf. Dr. Myra Spiliopoulou leads the work group on "Knowledge Management & Discovery" (KMD). The work group researches data mining methods for the analysis of complex data, documents, graphics and multi-relational data. The primary focus of the group is the identification and interpretation of changes in dynamic environments involving accumulating customer transactions and document flows. Prof. Dr. Michael GriebelProf. Dr. Griebel studies the development of numeric simulation methods for physical, chemical, technical and economic processes. Dr. Jochen GarckeDr. Jochen Garcke is the Junior Group leader at Matheon and Berlin Technical University. His research focuses primarily on application of numerical mathematical models to data mining and machine learning. |
